We always get told that the punch has to come slightly before we move with the foot to have cover and don“t go in open.
being pulled by your hand into the step my sifu always keeps saying.

that is “half beat faster”, and works only if you are bigger, faster, stronger than your opponent.

    sifu Jin,

I really enjoy your step and a punch drill,
can you show me how to do 5 punches with one step (chain punching) or explain to me how do I chain punching that using the body with one step?

    thanks

    Jin Reply:

do it in steps, first learn to step and single punch, then step and double punch, keep adding a punch with each step, eventually, you’ll get comfortable punching and moving together.
