My Mission

To provide a quality ongoing martial arts method online focusing on efficiency, simplicity, and totality, also to guide practitioners to their own means of self expression and artistry through combative movement.

Wing Chun

Wing Chun Kung Fu was developed by a Buddhist nun named Ng Mui, trained in Shaolin Kung Fu, over 400 years ago in China. She synthesized all of the martial arts she had learned at the Shaolin Temple down to a simple and direct fighting style that anyone, regardless of size, or strength could use. Her first pupil was a young woman named Yim Wing Chun. The nun named her style of Kung Fu after this student.

Wing Chun practitioners are trained to fight against an opponent who is “in your face”. This style is famous for “trapping” an opponent’s limbs and redirecting their momentum to neutralize an attack.

Submission Grappling

Submission Grappling is a new sport with a long history. It is an eclectic form of NoGi ground work that borrows from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Catch Wrestling, Freestyle Wrestling, Greco-Roman Wrestling, Judo and Sambo. It relies on leverage and sensitivity which allows a smaller individual to submit a much larger opponent through the use of joint locks, manipulations and chokes.

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA)

A full contact combat sport that allows a wide variety of fighting techniques, from a mixture of martial arts traditions and non-traditions, to be used in competitions. The rules allow the use of striking and grappling techniques, both while standing and on the ground. Such competitions allow martial artists of different backgrounds to compete.
